Hey! These are some recent maps I made -and I felt like sharing them ;0
The top map is a game-board for the card-game ‘Gang Up!’. Just to explain a little more about that; the city-blocks that have white boarders, is where you place your card stacks. The map itself shows ‘Crimetown’, the fictional city where the game takes place. And the buildings on the map refer to the characters & situations that are part of the game. I made the entire map out of shapes in PS.
The middle map is the floor-plan for a huge manga convention in the Netherlands, the ‘Abunai’. The convention takes place in a huge hotel and it’s a maze! So I updated a very basic map, to this one; using clear colors & icons to help the visitors navigate the hallways :) It’s also visually connected to a timetable that is printed on the backside.*
The map at the bottom is for the website of cosplay model ‘Azzy’, and the locations & feel of the map represent her interests.

I’ve worked on over 40 different projects in the last few years and lately I felt the need to collect all that work in a presentable way. So I made this very old-school paper artbook! Here’s an impression of the book and it’s contents:
The book contains 216 pages, and all projects have a short introduction and some comments. It contains comic work, animation work, concept art, game art, live-model drawings and roleplay art.
-PS. Sorry, it’s just one copy, so it’s not for sale!
The entire first printrun is almost sold out and we are currently prepearing an update of the game for a second print. We have tweaked our rules and cards a bit to create more interaction and fun during play. And we are also considering to add a couple of new cards to the game :) The game might even be upgraded to a deluxe version!
Here you can see an impression movie of the theme of the game:
This movie gives a detailed explanation of the game rules; you will be able to play the game once you have seen this :)
The last few months I have been busy illustrating 125 cards for our cardgame ‘GangUp!’ (see website here). As you can probably imagine, it was a lot of work. But I had a great time doing so! Below I collected all 46 gangsters that appear in the game, enjoy!
Gang Up! is casual card game where you compete to become the ultimate crime lord! Recruit legendary gang members and commit crazy daring crimes. Use criminal influences and team up with other players to get ahead. And when they least expect it, backstab them to win the game!
Why are we doing this (again)? Well, Kickstarter was a way for us to figure out if people would like our game. And when we got the support of 168 backers within 30 days it was very clear to us that this game has to be made! Unfortunately we barely missed our goal last time, so we try again. We changed our campaign a bit, we lowered our financial goal, lowerd the price of the basic game & added more fun rewards to the pledge options!
In preparation of our kickstarter project I made this sketch for ‘GangUp!’. It’s intended to be the cover for the cardbox, but I think it also makes a good promo poster :)
GangUp! Is a comical game about teamwork & betrayal. You need to organize your gang in order to pull off the most daring crimes and become CrimeTowns undisputed King!
sorry for the lack of updates guys, I’m too busy doing (always secret) freelance jobs & organizing very special figuere drawing sessions! Check out what that means here. but before you go, this is a recent collection characters for ‘Gang Up!’ a great card-game project that I work on with Paul. We really like to get it out there, but that requires me making about 100 illustrations (among other things of course). So doing that in my spare time, that keeps me busy for the next… 4 years. What? Wait, that’s way to long! Indeed! So we will try to get help from some friends & fans and organzize a kickstarter soon. More on that…soon ;)

'Gang Up!' Is a comical cardgame set in the age of crime! I designed this 'backstabbing'- cardgame together with my partner in crime: Paul & also made the art for the game. After a succesfull Kickstarter, this game is now on the market!
'Fairytale Fights' is a xbox360 & PS3 game about the 'hack and slash'- adventures of 4 famous fairytale characters. After initiating this project I had the enjoyable role of art director during this project.
'Wizard Brew' is a comic about a young wizard that tends to get himself in trouble all the time. Issue 1 is done, more will follow!
Roleplaying is my biggest hobby and I've produced many adventures, which I often illustrate. Take a look!
I organize figure drawing sessions & join other sessions whenever I can - It's good practice! If you like to attend a session 'click here! ' (Breda, the Netherlands)
'Coffin Crushers!' is a comic about Vampire Hunters that use their Heavy Metal Mechas to earn a buck by crushing Vampires!
'P.I.G War' is a comic about the sexy pilots of pig-like war machines that defend the core of M.E.A.T.-city!
Chaos Battle is a condensed, fun, action game where up to 4 players fight each other to the death!
On a more serious note; I support the 'cure for migraine-research', since so many of my fellow artist suffer from this painful condition. Luckily things are looking up; click on the image to find out where we stand now & what can be done for you!
