Coffin Crushers: bunker designs

Closed

This human city exists out of a mix of medieval castle elements & WW2 bunker elements;  and of course, as the cities main purpose is to ward off vampires, there are many cross-designs integrated in it’s layout!

Coffin Crushers Awkward Art Talk!

Add a comment

I just did my first ever live-stream and talked about making Coffin Crushers ;) I had fun doing it, but I felt a bit awkward talking to a tablet! But thanks for watching & asking some questions, that made it very much worthwhile ;)

And for those of you who missed it; you can still see the recording here ( for a short while):

Coffin Crushers Designs 01

Add a comment

Hey Guys my personal project is finally live on Kickstarter!

‘In this fun adventure comic, we follow a unit of vampire hunters who operate legendary Coffin Crushers. These War-Mechas have but one mission: To crack open the vampires vaults and tip the scales of this eternal war!’

Before I could start working on the actual comic pages, I had to figure how the world of Coffin crushers would look. And since the story is about hunting Vampires, anti-vampire weapons were high on the design list. Check out my deisgns!

This stroy is also about military ranks & combat classes, so I made a couple of insignia to support that idea:

COFFIN CRUSHERS PANELS

Hey everyone!

My  ‘Coffin Crushers’ comic  is finally shaping up! After a very long design period I could finally make some progress on the actual pages. Here you see two shots from what I have so far!

This first shot is from inside a Coffin Crusher (a huge robot designed to withstand vampire attacks).

And this shot shows a Crusher protecting his fallen comrade from  a huge vampire!

And this is page 1 of the comic!

Antegods Comic

Add a comment

Hey everyone! I recently created a comic for Codeglue, a dutch game company that develops the arena shooter game ‘Antegods’. Below you see the cover and a page from the comic (1 of 22). If you want to learn more about the process of making this comic, then have a look at the interview on Codeglue’s blog over here.

The story is written by Niels ‘t Hooft & based on the artwork made by Codeglue’s design team. The comic art & character design is done by myself; and Maroussia Jansen did a great job helping me out with the basic colors! ( Thanks again!). And this is the game the comic belongs to:

For years I have been doing art-project together with Gijs Hermans (currently art director at Ronimo Games). And recently we made this Coffin Crusher illustration together. I did the sketch below, and Gijs did all the hard work turning it into a fancy image ;0  I think it turned out great!
